PERSPECTIVES

Perspectives is a captivating visual art exploration of the boundary between the possible and the impossible. Each piece in this mixed media collection challenges perception, transforming familiar geometry and imagined forms into tangible reality. Through precision, balance, and light, shapes once thought unreal are brought to life—inviting viewers to question what can and cannot exist.


This body of work plays with dimension and illusion, pushing the viewer to see beyond the surface and engage with how perspective art itself can shift meaning. Creating art has always been an integral part of Topher's life. What began as a simple joy in making things has evolved into a deeper exploration of how imagination takes shape in various forms, including mixed media. His work is driven by curiosity, precision, and a lifelong love of visual puzzles, as well as the captivating realms of perspective art. Topher finds happiness in bringing something impossible to life through his unique approach to visual art.

The Art

Topher’s mixed media pieces elegantly blur the line between geometry and illusion. Using laser-cut wood, paint, and a great deal of patience, he transforms flat forms into layered compositions that explore depth and movement. Each piece not only embodies perspective art but also challenges perception, inviting viewers to pause, look closer, and experience the familiar in a refreshingly new way, showcasing his innovative contributions to visual art.

The Journey

Topher McDaniel spent the last 2 years creating his first cohesive body of work — *Perspectives*. Starting in February 2025, he set out to develop a complete mixed media collection from concept to completion, exploring how geometry, color, and light can shift our perception in the realm of perspective art. The result is a reflection of commitment, growth, and creative transformation in the field of visual art.
